Well, I have been on St. Simons Island for the past four nights, hoping to take a few walks on the beach, read and crochet. I did not take many walks---on Thursday of last week, I made yet another visit to an dental professional (Adam, the endodontist) and I think the 2 antibiotics I was on over the weekend just wiped me out. Or could it be the job? :-) Anyway, I slept the better part of Friday evening and most of the day Saturday. Susan Vogel says that vacation is for resting not for energizing oneself, so I consider this a successful vacation.
I am in Panera's on Duval Road just south of Jacksonville Airport. I have been answering some email from assorted wonderful pastors and churches and am just glad I can send out on Outlook instead of only receiving email for the last several days. Communication one way does not communication make. Hopefully, I WILL be energized when I get home about this blog!!! No cabinet this week--mostly catching up.

I'm sorry that you haven't had time for the beach, but I hope you've had a good time on the Island and in Jax.
I live half way between them--you probably passed my house on your way to Jacksonville (to the very Panera that I often sit and do my seminary homework!).
I just get excited when other people blog about my little, often ignored corner of Methodism!
