Baby Grace is the person to person ministry between persons of the Buckner church and teenage mothers in there area---it started with the UMW there, and was begun by Anne Farmer and Juli Yocum, UMW leaders---Anne is a teacher at Fort Osage and new the need and over the last two years the program has grown.
Today was a Baby Grace open house where the moms and dads come in to pick up free clothing, baby items of many types (strollers, car seats, etc) and toys. There's a lot more to the program than that, but I thought I would just share with you some pf of the pics from today.... There is one is of the pastor Robb Webster, Anne Farmer, and Juli Yocum; there is another of Marilyn Yocum, Juli's mother in law and the widow of one of our pastors, John Yocum. The other are of moms, dads, and kids or kids in vitro---there is one of me holding Austin...his mom was going through clothes. I'll try to post more on Facebook tomorrow.
