My today is full...

Still appointments to make

Still pastors to listen to

Still wonderful Barbara

Still a few more meetings

A few more check requests to sign

Full of emotions

A breaking heart of a church in my district

Anger at myself that I don't "have 'em all done"

And

Satisfaction, really, that by God's grace

The district has great pastors and churches of all sizes

That hope does reign

And that mission is blossoming in beautiful ways

And the future...

Only 20 days till I become the pastor at McMurry

Till I get to love one specific bunch of folks

And preach

And hurt when they hurt

And laugh

And lead

And pray in new ways

Praise God, for yesterday and the regrets I have in some decisions I have made in the past. Praise God for today, and the responsibilities that sometimes weigh heavy, but which I still bear gladly, and Praise God for tomorrow, for a church named McMurry, for good people already welcoming me, and for another chance to pastor.
