On a Porch at Mount Sequoyah

Here are Amy Forbus and I sitting on a porch of a cottage on the mountain. We are not as shaky as the picture looks. But I am just so delighted to be sitting next to her blogging that I had to have someone take our picture. We will go on to perfection (hopefully) and have a better picture taken tomorrow.

She is writing about lightening bugs, I think.

It's been a good day here. Dean Greg Jones from Duke Div School spoke about characteristics of yers and xers, especially since 9/11. If I get the chance I will share the 10 polarities he talked about regarding younger adults which made me think. Not sure I agree with it all, but made me think. Lovett came and shared about the young clergy trends which is just as depressing the third time you hear it as it was the first. He was at his very humorous best. Very.

Tomorrow we have the organizational meeting of our cabinet for the new year; first time that the new appointive cabinet will be together after ac. We gotta good bunch. Yolanda, Jim and Nancye Dunlap and Ann R. are discussing life nearby.

Guess there is nothing too major, but sitting next to Amy is mighty good.
