As I wrote about a couple months ago, I love the radio station "Whisperings" which I get over Itunes. Their website is: www.solopianomusic.com Anyway, I heard an exquisitely played hymn arrangement the other night and sought out the artist's website. Hence Jon Mutchler. He is the pastor of an Alliance church in Washington state, is classically trained and gives piano lessons, is raising six children with his wife -- they home school, and he plays on the weekends what sounds like a lobby gig. I listen to lots of solo piano, but I think this guy is something special. I downloaded this cd plus his Christmas one, Incarnation. Both are really neat.
