Hail, the Concurring Hero? The Happy Wanderer?

Maybe, The Caleb came back? I now tell you of my wandering son's great summer adventure. I have not blogged about it because I didn't want everyone thinking I had gone nuts to give him my blessing (even though he is 18 and technically doesn't need it, but wanted it anyway) On July 6, Caleb went hitchhiking with two experienced hitchhikers and wedded twosome (same people) Andy and Dublin, and they did hitchhike from KC to near Mt. Juliet TN. And they worked on Andy and Dublin's farm. And Andy hitched with Caleb back. They got back about midnight last night. The farm part was okay to me, the hitching...well, I have a bit of the adventuresome in me, and I did grow up in Carbondale Illinois (known then, and perhaps now, as Hippietown USA) in the '60s and '70s. I have heard some good road stories from Caleb; I know there are some stories that wait to be told, but not to me (Please, God, NOT TO ME!) and Caleb is as tanned and muscular (well, sort of) as I have ever seen him. I took Caleb, Andy and his girlfriend Rose out for a welcome home supper tonight at....CHUBBY'S!!! If you live in the KC area and have never been to Chubby's YOUR summer adventure awaits!

Above is a pic of Caleb, and of Andy, Caleb and girlfriend Rose. I just LOVE his hair (;-})...those of you who know him know that it will probably be different tomorrow. Or later tonight.
